Action has opened a new 44,000 sqm distribution centre in Dunikowo, near Szczecin, marking its fourth logistics hub in Poland and the company's 18th distribution centre in Europe.
The facility will supply up to 180 stores across Poland and Germany, supporting the retailer's continued expansion in the region. Over time, the site is expected to create around 400 jobs.

Strengthening supply chain capacity
The new centre plays a key role in scaling Action's logistics infrastructure as its store network grows. Since entering Poland in 2017, the company has expanded rapidly, now operating 453 stores and employing more than 6,800 people in the country.
Jens Burgers, Director of Supply Chain at Action, said the location offers strong logistical advantages: "DC Dunikowo offers us a great central location for the distribution of Action's growing store network in Poland."
High sustainability standards
The distribution centre has been designed with a strong focus on sustainability. The building is fully gas-free and has achieved a BREEAM Outstanding certification, one of the highest international standards for sustainable construction.
According to Burgers, sustainability has been embedded into every aspect of the project, from construction materials to installed systems, ensuring environmentally responsible operations.
Long-term growth strategy
Paweł Essel, General Manager of Action in Poland, highlighted the milestone as part of the company's long-term investment in the market. Nearly nine years after opening its first Polish store, the new facility will enable Action to serve more customers while supporting further expansion.
With this latest development, Action continues to scale its European logistics network while aligning growth with sustainability and operational efficiency.
