Apostoli Wellness Creators has been recognised at the Global SPA Awards 2026, with two of its projects receiving prestigious accolades across regional and national categories.
The awards programme, now in its third edition, celebrates excellence in spas, wellness centres and high-end hospitality, recognising not only service quality but also innovation and the ability to elevate industry standards. The 2026 edition attracted more than 85,000 public votes, alongside evaluation by a panel of international experts and industry professionals.

Double recognition for flagship projects
In the Regional category, Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda was awarded Best Wellness Retreat. The five-star property, set in Gargnano overlooking Lake Garda, has been fully reimagined by Apostoli Wellness Creators in collaboration with the Lefay Resorts Project Team.
The design is defined by its seamless integration into the landscape, with natural materials, neutral tones, and extensive glazing creating a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces. The 11-hectare site includes a 4,300 sqm spa, suites and private villas, with wellness programmes combining Classical Chinese Medicine and Western scientific approaches.
Meanwhile, in Sicily, Almar Giardino di Costanza Resort & SPA received the Best SPA Resort award in the Country category for its Almablu Wellness & SPA, also designed by the studio. The project is conceived as a multisensory journey reflecting Sicily's layered cultural heritage, drawing from classical, Arab and Norman influences.
A holistic vision of wellness design
Commenting on the recognition, founder Alberto Apostoli emphasised the evolving role of wellness architecture: "A wellness-oriented destination can no longer be defined solely by the services it offers. It must engage with its context, traditions and environment, becoming a bridge between cultures and identities."
Both award-winning projects reflect the studio's approach to holistic, context-driven design, where architecture, wellbeing and sustainability are closely intertwined.
The latest accolades add to an already strong track record for the two resorts, which have received multiple international awards in recent years, further reinforcing Apostoli Wellness Creators' position within the global wellness design sector.
