Rotpunkt reports strong start to 2026 with sales growth and expansion plans

Rotpunkt Küchen has reported a strong performance in the first quarter of 2026, building on its recent success at Kbb Birmingham, where the company was awarded 'Best Kitchen Stand over 30m²'.

The German manufacturer of climate-friendly fitted furniture recorded an 8% increase in sales and an 11% rise in turnover, signalling positive momentum across both domestic and international markets. Following a record turnover of €103.7 million in 2025, the company is now targeting double-digit growth as order intake continues to develop positively.

According to Sven Herden, Managing Director of Sales and Marketing, the company expects turnover to continue rising beyond the end of March: "We aim to use our ongoing success in kitchen furniture manufacture as a springboard for the new 2026 collection, which serves every room in the home."

Strong quarterly momentum
Rotpunkt's performance in Q1 reflects a steady upward trajectory. January delivered a strong influx of orders despite ongoing market volatility, while February saw moderate growth. March has emerged as the strongest month so far, confirming a clear upward trend.

The UK remains a key focus market for the company's export strategy, despite continued challenges linked to inflation, Brexit and broader economic uncertainty. Rotpunkt highlighted the success of its presence at Kbb Birmingham as an important driver for strengthening partnerships and generating new business opportunities.

Expansion and investment
Looking ahead, Rotpunkt is maintaining a cautious but optimistic outlook. The company continues to invest heavily in its production facilities and infrastructure at its headquarters in Bünde, Germany, reinforcing its long-term market position.

Managing Partner Andreas Wagner commented: "These investments are necessary for maintaining a strong position for Rotpunkt Küchen in the long term," pointing to ongoing upgrades in machinery and manufacturing capabilities.

Broadening the product offer
Alongside its financial growth, Rotpunkt is expanding its product portfolio beyond kitchens to include bathrooms, dressing rooms and living spaces, positioning itself as a whole-home furniture brand.

Matt Phillips, Head of UK Operations, noted a strong market response to the new 2026 collection: "We want to provide a sustainable competitive advantage, and early market results show that we're delivering a value proposition that aligns with contemporary lifestyles."

With continued investment, product development and a focus on sustainability, Rotpunkt is aiming to consolidate its position in the global interiors market while navigating ongoing economic and geopolitical challenges.
