French furniture brand Camif has taken a major step in its retail strategy by opening its first-ever physical store in Lyon (France), marking a shift from its long-standing mail-order and online model. Founded in 1947, the company is now expanding into brick-and-mortar retail to strengthen its omnichannel presence.

The new 370m² store, located in the city centre, showcases a curated selection of Camif's range, including sofas, furniture, home textiles, tableware and decorative items. Customers can browse collections in-store while also placing online orders or collecting purchases, reinforcing the integration between physical and digital channels.
Camif continues to position itself as a responsible brand, with all products manufactured in Europe and a portion produced in France. Following €32m in turnover in 2024 and 4% growth in 2025, the company is targeting revenues of €45–50m by 2028.
As part of this ambition, Camif plans to open around ten physical stores across France by the end of the decade.
