Black Red White (BRW) is closing its factory in Zamość (Poland) as part of a wider restructuring programme aimed at improving efficiency and profitability. The Polish furniture giant confirmed that kitchen production will be relocated to its more advanced facilities in Biłgoraj and Mielec during the second quarter of 2026.

The move reflects mounting pressure on the sector, including rising energy, transport and labour costs, as well as weakening export demand across Western Europe. BRW said centralising production in modernised plants, particularly Biłgoraj, where new automated lines have been installed, will allow for better cost control and increased efficiency.
The closure is part of a broader transformation strategy launched in 2025, which has already seen production discontinued in other locations. While manufacturing will cease in Zamość, logistics and warehousing operations will remain.
BRW is targeting a PLN 100m improvement in EBITDA by the end of 2026, supported by operational optimisation, digital expansion and a stronger focus on core product categories such as kitchens, wardrobes and bedrooms.
