Krauss officially joined the board on March 19, 2026, also taking a position on the company's HR Committee. She succeeds Dr. Michael Reinhard, who steps down after seven years of service due to retirement.
Bringing more than 20 years of global experience, Krauss has held senior HR and leadership roles across major international companies. She spent around a decade as Chief HR Officer at Hilti, where she led strategic people and transformation initiatives, and previously held global leadership positions at Hewlett Packard. Since 2024, she has worked as a non-executive board member, transformation advisor and executive mentor.
Alexander Pieper, Chairman of the Board of Directors, highlighted her expertise in organisational development and transformation, noting that her experience will support Franke's future strategic direction.
The appointment comes as Franke continues to evolve its leadership structure, with a focus on modern HR strategies, organisational transformation and long-term growth.
Headquartered in Aarburg, Switzerland, the Franke Group operates globally across kitchen solutions, foodservice systems and coffee equipment, employing around 7,700 people in 35 countries with annual sales of approximately CHF 2.42 billion.
