Roca Group has opened Sydney Gallery in Surry Hills, establishing a new destination for architecture and design in Australia and marking a significant step in the group's international expansion.

Bringing together its two global brands, Laufen and Roca, the new space moves beyond the traditional showroom model to position itself as a design-led hub for professional exchange, innovation and cultural dialogue. The gallery is conceived as a platform where architecture, design and contemporary living intersect, with a particular focus on the evolving role of the bathroom as a space for wellbeing and technological advancement.
Designed by international architecture practice DKO, the project occupies a two-level heritage building, where original architectural elements have been preserved and reinterpreted. The result is a fluid, contemporary environment shaped by light, materials and spatial continuity, offering distinct yet complementary presentations of both brands.
Inside, the gallery showcases advanced bathroom solutions that combine design, sustainability and innovation, while creating differentiated environments that reflect the individual identities of Laufen and Roca.

According to Shaun Tulk, Managing Director of Roca Group Australia, the opening represents "an important milestone" for the company in the region, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Australian market and to the promotion of design culture.
Sydney Gallery joins Roca Group's growing global network of Galleries, which includes locations in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Shanghai and São Paulo, as well as the recently opened Delhi Gallery. These spaces are conceived as cultural platforms, hosting events, talks and exhibitions aimed at fostering dialogue among architects, designers and industry professionals.
With the Sydney opening, Roca Group strengthens its role not only as a manufacturer, but as an active contributor to the global design conversation, connecting international perspectives with local architectural contexts.
