Alice Wittmann poses the question:

'Is there need for a place where people can truly connect again, beyond the big trade fairs?'

Alice Wittmann has been appointed as CEO of the eponymous company Wittmann since the beginning of last month. She is the great-great-granddaughter of the company's founder, and with this appointment, Wittmann returns to the family that established the business. Alice Wittmann succeeds Bo Thuesen, who stepped down as CEO at his own request. Previously, Alice Wittmann led the company's product division and brings extensive experience in brand development and marketing.

On her social media, she shared a post in which she first thanks her followers for all their responses to her new role. She also highlights that trade fairs have always been a place for her where the industry comes together, products can be experienced, and relationships can be built, in addition to the exhibitions themselves. She shares this reflection following her visit to the Munich Design Days.

"I returned from Munich full of energy, but also with a few questions. One of them: Does our sector need a place where people can truly meet again, outside the major trade fairs?"
