Swiss sanitaryware group Geberit has reinforced its commitment to Italy with new investments and the launch of its first Experience Center in Milan. Located on Via Tortona, the multi-purpose space is designed as a hub for architects, designers, installers and consumers, combining commercial, educational and experiential functions.

Italy remains a key market for the group, ranking third globally by revenue. Geberit operates two production sites in the country: Gaeta, focused on high-quality ceramics, and Villadose, which manufactures drainage systems. Both facilities are undergoing ongoing upgrades, with Villadose already highly automated and further modernisation planned for Gaeta.
General director Giorgio Castiglioni confirmed that 'Italy is a strategic market for Geberit', highlighting steady growth, including a 1.6 per cent increase in 2025. While growth is expected to continue in 2026, it may slow compared to the post-pandemic period driven by construction incentives.
The Milan Experience Center will officially open to the public on 20 April during Milan Design Week, where Geberit will also present an installation titled 'Flow. Form. Function', blending design, technology and immersive storytelling.
