Held in two phases (18–21 March and 28–31 March 2026), the fair spans 850,000 square metres across 90 halls, featuring more than 5,100 brands and reinforcing its position as the world's largest furniture exhibition platform.
Expanding scale and global reach
This year's edition is guided by the theme "CONNECT · CREATE", reflecting CIFF's shift from a traditional trade fair to a broader industry platform focused on innovation, collaboration and growth.
The event sees strong international participation, including companies such as IKEA (Sweden), KOKUYO (Japan), IMA (Germany) and Bastim (UK), alongside a significant influx of new exhibitors. In total, 1,582 companies are participating for the first time, accounting for nearly one-third of all exhibitors.
New sectors reflect changing lifestyles
CIFF Guangzhou 2026 introduces several new thematic areas in response to evolving consumer needs. These include zones dedicated to healthy ageing, pet living, functional furniture such as massage chairs, and new retail concepts.
A dedicated Healthy & Silver Life exhibition highlights senior-friendly furniture and smart care solutions, while the Pet Home exhibition explores the growing market for pet-related design. Additional areas focus on relaxation technologies and innovative retail formats targeting younger consumers.
Full industry ecosystem
The exhibition is structured across three main segments:
- Home Furniture (18–21 March) covering 430,000 sqm
- Office & Commercial Space (28–31 March) covering 240,000 sqm
- CIFM/interzum guangzhou (28–31 March) covering 170,000 sqm
Together, these create a comprehensive ecosystem spanning design, production, materials and finished products.
Design and technology at the forefront
Design remains central to the fair, with 227 design brands participating and a series of curated exhibitions exploring themes such as AI, sustainability and lifestyle innovation. A dedicated design cluster spans over 96,000 sqm, linking creative development with industrial production.
Digitalisation also plays a growing role, with new tools including AI-powered assistants, smart navigation systems and real-time matchmaking platforms enhancing the visitor experience.
A global industry hub
With international promotions across multiple markets and a digital network reaching millions, CIFF Guangzhou continues to strengthen its role as a global connector for designers, manufacturers, retailers and buyers.
As the 2026 edition opens, the fair positions itself as a key platform for shaping the future of the furniture industry through innovation, collaboration and global exchange.
