Italian kitchen brand SCIC Italia will present its latest model, Zum Zeri, during Milan Design Week 2026, showcasing a design that merges technical precision with expressive materiality.
Designed by Anna and Enrico Cattaneo, Zum Zeri is conceived as more than a kitchen, positioned instead as a refined composition of volumes, surfaces and light.

A sculptural centrepiece
At the heart of the project is a large central island, defined by its compact, sculptural form. A recessed lighting channel runs along the island's perimeter, emphasising its geometry while adding a subtle luminous effect.
Rounded corners soften the structure, balancing the otherwise rigorous form and bringing a more domestic, approachable character to the design.
Dialogue of materials
Zum Zeri is characterised by a strong material contrast. The design combines a natural quartzite worktop with a mother-of-pearl lacquer finish, complemented by leather inserts on cabinet doors.
This interplay of materials creates both a visual and tactile richness, reinforcing SCIC Italia's focus on craftsmanship and detail.
A precise design language
With Zum Zeri, SCIC Italia highlights its ongoing exploration of clean lines, balanced volumes and material innovation. Each element is carefully integrated to form a cohesive and recognisable aesthetic language.
The project reflects the brand's technical expertise while responding to contemporary demands for kitchens that function as both practical spaces and architectural statements.
Zum Zeri will be presented as part of SCIC Italia's exhibition during Milan Design Week, offering a preview of the company's latest approach to kitchen design.
