The collaboration reflects a shared ambition: to redefine outdoor environments as carefully curated spaces where furniture, lighting and experience come together seamlessly. For BETACO, the Milan debut is not only a showcase of products, but a statement of intent within the global design landscape.
A platform for Belgian design talent
Founded with the vision of supporting and elevating Belgian creativity, BETACO positions itself as more than a furniture manufacturer. The brand operates as a design platform, working closely with designers and creative partners to develop collections that combine expressive form with functional clarity.
This approach has shaped a distinct design language rooted in Belgian sensibility, understated, architectural and quietly refined. Sculptural forms and balanced proportions define the collections, while accessibility remains a key principle.
'Our ambition is to create a long-term platform where Belgian designers can develop outdoor collections that combine strong design identity with accessibility,' says General Manager Baptist Gilson. 'We want to show that great design and high quality can exist in a segment that remains attainable.'

A milestone at Salone del Mobile.Milano
Participating in Salone del Mobile.Milano represents an important step for BETACO as it expands beyond its core markets of Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. As one of the most influential design events worldwide, the fair offers a strategic platform to connect with architects, designers, hospitality groups and international distributors.
More than a commercial opportunity, the presence in Milan allows BETACO to position its philosophy within a broader European and global context, strengthening its role within an evolving design ecosystem.

Curated collections and new expressions
At the BETACO × Heatsail booth, visitors will encounter a carefully curated selection of the brand's signature pieces, including the Livorno Corner Lounge, Sorrento Dining Table, Maddalena and Florence dining chairs, the Maddalena Daybed and the Lago Bar Stool.
A key highlight is the award-winning Livorno Corner Lounge, now reintroduced in aluminium and presented in the newly developed Ebano finish. This deep, sophisticated tone enhances the architectural quality of the design while offering greater versatility for contemporary outdoor settings.
Combined with Heatsail's lighting and heating solutions, the presentation creates a layered and immersive environment, demonstrating how outdoor spaces can be both functional and emotionally engaging.

Strengthening Belgium's design voice
Belgium has long been recognised for its distinctive design culture, where innovation meets craftsmanship and restraint. BETACO positions itself within this tradition while contributing a new dimension: a collaborative platform that enables Belgian designers to create outdoor collections with international relevance.
Looking ahead, the company aims to expand its presence across Europe and further develop its network of creative and commercial partners. International fairs such as Salone del Mobile play a crucial role in building these connections and accelerating growth.
'Our goal is to continue developing distinctive collections with Belgian designers and to gradually build a strong international presence,' Gilson notes. 'Salone del Mobile is an important step in that journey.'
With its debut in Milan, BETACO signals a confident next chapter, one that brings Belgian outdoor design to a wider audience while remaining grounded in collaboration, clarity and long-term vision.
