US sleep technology company Sleep Number has unveiled its largest mattress portfolio update in nearly a decade, introducing five new beds designed to adapt to customers' changing sleep needs. The new models will be available from 23 March 2026 through Sleep Number stores and online.
The redesigned lineup focuses on personalised comfort, temperature management and adjustable support, while simplifying the company's product range. The portfolio has been reduced from 12 to seven mattresses, organised into three collections: ComfortMode™, ComfortNext™ and Climate™.

According to Linda Findley, President and CEO of Sleep Number, the new beds combine advanced technology with a more accessible price point. "Sleep Number has a long history of delivering products that improve sleep quality, and we are building on that legacy with these new beds," she said.
Three collections targeting different sleep needs
The new portfolio introduces three distinct collections designed to address varying comfort preferences and budgets.
The ComfortMode Collection, is aimed at consumers seeking adjustable comfort and temperature-balancing features without requiring app connectivity. The collection includes the existing ComfortMode mattress and the new ComfortMode Lux, launching in March.
The ComfortNext Collection, introduces several of the company's newest technologies. The range features three new mattresses, including two models built with Sleep Number's Tri-Brid™ design, which combines micro-coils, foam and air chambers to provide long-term support and pressure relief for areas such as the shoulders, hips and lower back. These models also integrate smart technology controlled through a mobile app.
At the top end of the range is the Climate Collection, which focuses on advanced temperature management. The beds use Sleep Number's SmartTemp™ technology to provide active heating and cooling, alongside adjustable firmness and connected features. According to company data, users of the Climate360® model can achieve up to 52.5 minutes more restful sleep per night when temperature regulation is activated.
Updated bases and simplified buying experience
Alongside the new mattresses, Sleep Number is introducing updated bases, including a redesigned Foundation base and a refreshed version of the FlexFit 3® smart adjustable base, which offers features aimed at improving comfort and relaxation.
The simplified lineup is intended to make it easier for customers to select the right mattress while maintaining the brand's focus on personalised sleep technology.
Founded nearly four decades ago, Sleep Number has developed a reputation for adjustable air-based mattresses supported by data-driven sleep technology. The company says its products are backed by more than 1,000 patents and billions of hours of sleep data, helping over 16 million users improve sleep quality.
The full range of mattresses and bases will be available from 23 March 2026, with each mattress including a 100-night trial and a 10-year limited warranty.
