Family takeover highlights Cuisines Références succession strategy

Cuisines Références has completed a family-led ownership transfer of its store in Le Quesnoy, France, demonstrating the brand's strategy to support smooth succession within its retail network. The showroom, opened in 2012 near Valenciennes, was previously managed by Franck Bogrand, who prepared the transition as he approached retirement.

Since October 2025, the business has been led by his son Alexandre Bogrand, who spent seven years working in the store and gradually learning the operational side of the company. The takeover also includes Constance Canonne, a long-time sales designer at the showroom, who has joined the project as a partner. Franck's wife, Marielle Bogrand, continues working in sales administration, ensuring continuity within the team.

The 350-square-meter showroom features eight kitchen displays along with areas dedicated to dressing rooms, bathrooms and laundry spaces. The store has recorded steady sales growth since opening, which helped facilitate the transition to new management already familiar with the business.

Cuisines Références, part of the FBD Group (which also includes Ixina, Cuisine Plus and Vanden Borre Kitchen), supports store transfers by assisting owners and buyers throughout the process. The network typically begins preparing the transition 12 to 18 months in advance, managing legal, financial and operational aspects.

According to the brand, structured successions like this help maintain network stability while offering opportunities for new entrepreneurs to take over established stores. Several outlets are currently available for acquisition across France.
