Italian furniture brand Zilio A&C will unveil its latest seating designs during Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 (21–26 April) at Hall 18, Booth E05, presenting a stand concept inspired by the convivial atmosphere of contemporary Italian trattorias.
Designed by Mentsen, the exhibition space draws from everyday hospitality environments such as cafés and restaurants, translating their informal yet carefully balanced character into a design narrative. The stand is conceived as a sequence of intimate settings that evoke the warmth and sociability typical of Italian dining culture.

A system of semicircular fabric curtains structures the stand, creating layered spaces that encourage visitors to explore different seating scenarios. The curved forms of the curtains subtly echo the silhouette of the new Cannella armchair, reinforcing the connection between the exhibition design and the furniture pieces on display.
The atmosphere is intentionally simple, welcoming and detail-oriented, reflecting the qualities associated with well-run trattorias where quality is expressed through thoughtful design rather than elaborate decoration.
Two new seating designs
Within this hospitality-inspired setting, Zilio A&C introduces two new additions to its seating collection.
The first is Cannella, an upholstered armchair designed by Mentsen. The design emphasises soft, rounded forms and generous comfort, aligning with the brand's focus on craftsmanship and refined proportions.
Alongside Cannella, the company presents the Aroma Stool, designed by Alessandro Stabile. The piece expands the existing Aroma collection, introducing a stool version that maintains the collection's minimalist language while adapting it for bar and hospitality settings.
Focus on hospitality design
Through the stand concept and new products, Zilio A&C highlights the growing importance of hospitality environments as a source of inspiration for furniture design. Restaurants, cafés and social spaces increasingly influence how seating is conceived for both commercial and residential contexts.
The 2026 presentation reflects the brand's broader design philosophy, combining functional simplicity, refined craftsmanship and a strong connection to everyday social environments.
Visitors to Salone del Mobile.Milano will be able to experience the new Cannella armchair and Aroma Stool within the immersive stand concept, which positions seating design as part of a larger narrative around hospitality, conviviality and contemporary living.
