Brodin described the experience as inspiring and emphasised the importance of the prize's mission: recognising and supporting innovators, organisations and leaders working to create solutions for the planet. The Earthshot Prize aims to highlight bold ideas and practical actions that contribute to protecting and restoring the environment.
He noted that the world is currently halfway through what he called a "decade of change," acknowledging both the challenges facing the planet and the growing momentum behind positive environmental action. Brodin stressed that progress may not always be smooth, but continuing to move forward collectively is essential.
The Earthshot Prize will soon announce the next group of finalists, with the upcoming awards ceremony scheduled to take place in Mumbai, India. Brodin concluded his message with a call for optimism and urgency, emphasising that meaningful change requires action and collaboration.
