Armen Living is preparing for the upcoming High Point Spring Market with the opening of a new 12,000 sq ft showroom at 417 S. Wrenn Street in High Point, North Carolina. The launch will coincide with a special celebration marking the 100th High Point Market attendance of the company's National Sales Manager, Reb Nicholson.
The new showroom represents a significant step for the California-based contemporary furniture brand, which recently acquired property in High Point. According to Kevin Kevonian, owner, president and CEO of Armen Living and Uwharrie Outdoor Living, the milestone aligns with the company's continued expansion.

"This market will be one for the record books," Kevonian said. "To be able to honour Reb Nicholson's 100th anniversary in our new showroom and bring the design and trade community together is an incredible feeling."
Celebrating a five-decade industry career
Nicholson's career in the home furnishings sector spans more than 50 years, during which he has worked with several well-known brands across retail, merchandising and sales leadership roles.
He began his career in 1972 with Levitz Furniture, initially working as a merchandiser before advancing to regional buyer, managing purchasing for multiple categories across stores in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States.
Over the decades, Nicholson has held senior positions with companies including B. Bugatch Furniture, The Lane Company, Stoneville Furniture, The Powell Company, Magnussen Home and Designmaster. Before joining Armen Living five years ago, he spent 10 years with Classic Home, first as an independent representative and later managing a sales region.
Reflecting on the evolution of the industry, Nicholson said the changes over the decades have been remarkable. Early in his career, orders were placed by hand and fax, while today's representatives operate in a digitally driven environment shaped by new technologies and artificial intelligence.
Anniversary celebration during market
To mark Nicholson's 100th High Point Market, Armen Living will host a celebration on Sunday, April 26, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the new showroom. The event will feature catering, cocktails, live music and networking opportunities for industry professionals, customers and media.
Entertainment will include a performance by "The Armen Hammers," an industry-led band featuring Ray Allegrezza, Editor Emeritus of Furniture Today, alongside other professionals from the furniture sector.
New showroom for two brands
The showroom will present collections from both Armen Living and Uwharrie Outdoor Living, the North Carolina-based outdoor furniture brand known for made-to-order products crafted locally.
Open daily from April 20 to April 29, the showroom will host market visitors from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with additional open house social hours from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm between April 23 and April 26.
Located just two blocks from the IHFC building, the showroom sits directly across from the Riverside complex and near Shuttle Stop #7, providing convenient access for market attendees.
Expanding global presence
Armen Living offers a broad portfolio of indoor and outdoor furniture, including dining, living room, bedroom, office and outdoor pieces. The company supplies retailers, designers and hospitality projects worldwide and distributes more than 5,000 products, with a particular strength in bar seating, where its catalogue includes over 600 barstool designs.
With the opening of its new High Point showroom and the integration of Uwharrie Outdoor Living, the company aims to strengthen dealer partnerships and continue expanding its presence in the global furniture market.
