Once again, the Meble Polska trade fair confirmed its standing as one of Europe's key furniture contracting events. This year's edition, held in Poznań on 24–26 February 2026, was visited by professional furniture buyers from all over the world, with international visitors accounting for nearly two-thirds of all attendees.

More international visitors
The total number of trade fair participants reached 15,266. An international representation of buying groups, wholesalers, and furniture retail chains from various continents filled the exhibition halls from the very first hours of the event. The fair in Poznań, traditionally opening the European buying season for the furniture industry, once again became the place where global furniture trade met the broad offering of manufacturers. This year, international visitors accounted for as much as 62% of all attendees.
Visitors from around the world – a record 73 countries
Meble Polska 2026 was visited by furniture buyers from a record number of 73 countries. As in previous years, the largest foreign group was made up of visitors from Germany, the most important trading partner of the Polish furniture industry, accounting for 16.9% of international attendees. Surprisingly, despite the weaker market conditions, the number of buyers from our western neighbour increased this year by 5.3%.
The next largest groups came from the Czech Republic (6.6%) and Ukraine (6.5%). Among the most strongly represented markets were also Lithuania and France (5.5% each), followed by the United Kingdom (5.1%), Romania and the Netherlands (4.9% each), Slovakia (4.4%), and Belgium (3.7%). Compared with last year's visitor structure, particularly notable increases were recorded in the number of visitors from the Czech Republic (+46%) and Slovakia (+31%), as well as from Italy (+19%), Lithuania (+12%), and the United Kingdom (+11%). At the same time, slightly fewer visitors came this year from Belgium (-12%) and Ukraine (-10%), which only confirms how dynamically the international purchasing map of the furniture industry is changing.

In addition to buyers from most European countries, visitors also included representatives of nonEuropean markets, including Canada, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Mexico, Qatar, Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Australia, Brazil, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uruguay, and Vietnam.
Exhibition across 10 halls MEBLE POLSKA is the world's most comprehensive presentation of the offer of Polish furniture manufacturers, while at the same time increasingly attracting foreign exhibitors looking for business partners in Poznań. The exhibition covered around 60,000 m² across 10 halls, and the number of exhibitors increased again to 387.
Companies from 22 countries took part in the fair, including strong exhibitor representations from France, Turkey, Slovakia, and China. Once again, Ukrainian furniture manufacturers also prepared a national exhibition.

Lectures and training sessions
The trade fair was not only a venue for contracting new collections, but also a platform for gaining practical knowledge. The lecture programme focused on key challenges and development directions for the industry: online sales and building a competitive edge in e-commerce without a "price war," international expansion (including cross-border sales and marketplaces), as well as the growing role of regulatory compliance and certification (including product safety and supply chain transparency). The programme was complemented by topics related to design protection and skills development, from building modern teams to making more effective use of trade fairs in acquiring customers in international markets.
