The Bankruptcy Court in Svendborg issued the ruling on 4 March. Attorney Anders Hammer Hansen from Njord Law Firm has been appointed as trustee and is currently reviewing the case of the company, Skyttes Gulve. According to Hansen, it is still early in the process and no formal creditor claims have yet been submitted.
Initial assessments suggest that the bankruptcy estate contains limited assets. The trustee indicated that a number of company assets may have been sold before the bankruptcy was declared. These transactions will now be examined as part of the ongoing proceedings to clarify their pricing, the proceeds generated and the relationship with potential buyers.
Because Skyttes Gulve operated as a sole proprietorship, the bankruptcy also applies personally to the owner, Rasmus Skytte, who has consequently been declared personally bankrupt as well. Skytte has not commented publicly on the matter.
The case remains under investigation as the trustee works to determine the company's total liabilities and identify creditors.
Skyttes Gulve had operated in the flooring sector in southern Denmark, but the latest development brings its business activities to an end while the legal and financial details of the bankruptcy continue to be reviewed.
