Today, Turkey is one of Europe's most important furniture manufacturing hubs, and Kilim plays a key role in the industry. As one of the largest integrated furniture manufacturers in the country, Kilim operates large-scale production facilities and a strong distribution network, contributing significantly to Turkey's furniture export capacity. "Our mission is to represent the strengths of Turkish manufacturing on the global stage," says Yasar.
Kilim exports to over 50 countries, with Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the UK among the most important European markets. Eastern and Southern Europe, however, are emerging areas with high growth potential. "Consumers everywhere are increasingly looking for furniture that is functional, stylish, and space-efficient," Yasar notes. "Our click-clack sofa beds remain popular because they are simple, durable, and versatile."

Looking ahead, Yasar sees clear trends shaping the European sofa and bedding market. "Multifunctional furniture will only become more important as urbanization continues," he predicts. Over the next decade, Kilim's goals are focused on growth and innovation. "We want to strengthen our international presence, expand export markets, and continue introducing products that combine design and functionality," Yasar emphasizes.
