Hémisphère Sud store in Angoulême changes ownership and relocates

The Hémisphère Sud furniture and décor store in Angoulême, France, has entered a new phase following a change in ownership and relocation. The store has been taken over by Aude Boudoire and Pascal Valentin after the retirement of long-time operator Olivier Morange, a figure described by the network as a historic member of its local operations.

Alongside the takeover, the store has moved from its previous location to Champniers, approximately six kilometres from the city centre. The new outlet, situated at 241 rue de la Génoise, occupies a 700m² retail space and marks a fresh start for the Charente-based store within the Hémisphère Sud network.

The furniture and décor banner is developed by the GRAM group (Groupement pour l'aménagement de la maison), which highlighted the transition as an example of successful business succession within its network. According to the group, supporting store transfers and entrepreneurial takeovers is a key element of its development strategy.

GRAM also noted that the reopening represents a new chapter for the brand in the region, reinforcing its local presence while maintaining continuity within the network. The company said the transfer demonstrates the attractiveness and sustainability of the Hémisphère Sud concept, adding that structured support for new owners during the acquisition process remains a central pillar of the group's expansion model.

With the new management team now in place, the Angoulême store is expected to continue operating under the Hémisphère Sud banner while building on the foundations established by its previous owner.
