Italian design brand Seletti will unveil a new project during Milan Design Week 2026, presenting the Tools collection alongside the immersive Building Design LTD. installation, created in collaboration with Italian building materials distributor Eternoo.
The project will be on view from 21–26 April 2026 at the Seletti flagship store on Corso Garibaldi 117 in Milan, which will be transformed into a temporary installation inspired by the aesthetics of a traditional hardware store.

Known for its playful and unconventional approach to design, Seletti continues its exploration of everyday objects with the Tools collection, reinterpreting familiar cleaning and construction implements as expressive domestic pieces. Developed together with Eternoo, the collection revisits items typically associated with utility and labour, reframing them as decorative objects with a pop-inspired aesthetic.
The series comprises eleven pieces, including cleaning accessories such as a broom, dustpan and plunger, alongside construction tools like a hammer, wheelbarrow, trowel and shovel. Through Seletti's distinctive design language, these utilitarian objects are transformed into hybrid artefacts that blur the boundaries between functionality and artistic expression.
Metal surfaces are finished in brilliant gold, while wooden handles are coated in neon tones such as fuchsia, green, red, yellow and light blue, creating a striking visual contrast with the conventional appearance of work tools. In doing so, the collection challenges traditional perceptions of domestic and industrial objects, turning them into playful design statements.
Stefano Seletti, Art Director of the brand, explained the thinking behind the project: "Tools confirms what we love doing most at Seletti: bringing imagination and irony into everyday life, creating objects with a strong identity that tell a story. We wanted to play with collective memory, reinterpreting common objects from our shared experiences to transform them into contemporary icons."

He added: "These pieces thrive on a deliberate sense of 'displacement': once removed from their original context, they cease to be mere tools and become decorative objects and visual statements, without ever losing their primary function. It is the same short circuit we wanted to recreate in the installation, transforming the space into an actual hardware store: an invitation to lose your bearings and discover how design can be fueled by unexpected cross-pollinations, playing with its own identity to remain forever free and surprising."
To accompany the launch, Seletti's flagship store will be transformed into Building Design LTD., an installation conceived with Eternoo's technical expertise. Drawing inspiration from the world of construction, the façade will resemble a vintage, industrial London-style hardware store, complete with typographic signage and textured surfaces.
Inside, visitors will encounter a reimagined retail environment where familiar construction elements merge with Seletti's imaginative universe. The installation aims to create a visual and conceptual contrast, inviting visitors to rethink how everyday objects can be reinterpreted through design.
With the Tools collection and Building Design LTD., Seletti once again demonstrates its ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, encouraging audiences to rediscover everyday objects through a new and unexpected lens.
