The fair will once again take place in its traditional two-phase format. Phase 1, scheduled from 18–21 March 2026, focuses on home living, covering sectors including Home Furniture, Upholstery, Dining & Living, Homedecor & Hometextile, and Outdoor, Sunshade & Leisure Furniture.
Under the theme "CONNECT · CREATE", the Home Furniture exhibition explores nine key concepts interpreting the evolution of contemporary design and domestic environments. These trends include Oriental Aesthetics, Natural Healing, International Resonance, New Solid Wood, Design Going Global, Pet-Friendly Design, Design for the elderly, AI + Design and Artistic Living.
Together, these themes reflect broader global shifts in design culture, from renewed interest in traditional craftsmanship and cultural identity to the integration of technology, wellness and inclusive design. The concepts also highlight how furniture increasingly merges function, culture and lifestyle, transforming domestic spaces into expressive environments shaped by contemporary living patterns.
A major highlight of the exhibition is Area D, dedicated to Homedecor & Hometextile. Bringing together nearly 700 brands, the area presents new directions in decorative elements, soft furnishings and interior accessories, demonstrating how materials, textiles and cultural creativity are shaping future interiors.
Within this section, thematic exhibitions address emerging lifestyle trends. The Pet Friendly Living – Pet Furniture and Products Special Exhibition focuses on the growing role of pets within modern households. Featuring around 40 companies, it showcases furniture and products designed to integrate animals into domestic environments through multifunctional furniture, integrated pet spaces and innovative materials.
Another key presentation is the Healthy & Silver Life Living Exhibition, which highlights the rise of the "silver economy". With around 60 companies participating, the exhibition presents ergonomic furniture, smart home care systems and assistive technologies designed to support ageing populations and promote independent living.
The fair also emphasises the expanding culture of outdoor living. Located in Area B, the Outdoor, Sunshade & Leisure Furniture sector covers more than 50,000 square metres and gathers over 400 brands presenting outdoor furniture, sunshade systems and leisure products. Product launches, displays and forums will explore innovations in materials, craftsmanship and sustainability.
With its international scope and thematic focus on lifestyle change, CIFF Guangzhou positions itself as a key observatory for global design trends, where design, innovation and industry converge to anticipate the future of living.
The second phase of the fair, scheduled for 28–31 March 2026, will focus on office furniture, commercial furniture, hotel furniture and furniture machinery and raw materials.
