Through exhibitions, new product launches and material innovations, the Swiss brand aims to highlight how architecture, technology and design authorship are shaping the future of bathroom interiors.
At LAUFEN space Milano (Via Manzoni 23), the brand will host the exhibition "When Time Becomes Material," curated by designer Konstantin Grcic. The exhibition introduces a new collection that explores the concept of time as a new form of luxury, reflecting the growing importance of durability, craftsmanship and long-term value in design.
The Milan showroom will also showcase the next chapter of the Kartell • Laufen collaboration, further expanding the dialogue between materials, colour and industrial precision within bathroom environments.
A key focus of Laufen's presentation this year is the expansion of its material vocabulary, including the introduction of Vitreon steel into the brand's premium furniture systems. The new material combines structural clarity with technical precision, supporting the development of durable and sustainable bathroom solutions.
"Vitreon steel expands our material vocabulary in a very exciting way," said Marc Viardot, Corporate Marketing and Design Director at Roca Group. "This high-precision, durable technology enables us to push the boundaries of developing the most innovative and sustainable bathroom solutions."
Alongside the Fuorisalone exhibition, Laufen will also present new collections and product developments at Salone del Mobile, within a spatial concept designed to highlight the brand's commitment to innovation, sustainability and contemporary design culture.
Through its combined presence across both events, Laufen aims to present a layered narrative that reflects its position within the premium bathroom design segment, demonstrating how material innovation and architectural thinking continue to influence the evolution of modern interiors.
The exhibition "When Time Becomes Material" will be open from 20 to 26 April at LAUFEN space Milano, while the brand's collections will be on display during Salone del Mobile at the International Bathroom Exhibition (Hall 10, Stand B11–C16).
