Ikea U.S. will open the first of three planned stores in Texas this year when its Dallas–University Park location launches on March 11.
The new store, located at The Shops at Park Lane, spans approximately 63,000 square feet across two levels and features Ikea's signature room settings designed to help customers visualise home solutions.

"This new store is a great example of our commitment to making Ikea even more convenient and accessible," said Rob Olson, interim CEO of Ikea U.S.
More than 3,200 products will be available for immediate takeaway at the store, while the full product assortment can be ordered online for free store pickup or home delivery.
The location will also include Ikea's traditional food offering, serving items such as Swedish meatballs, plant balls, hot dogs and veggie dogs.
The Dallas–University Park store marks the first of three new Ikea openings planned in Texas in 2026. Additional stores are scheduled for Rockwall, in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and Webster, near Houston.
Once these locations open, Ikea will operate 10 showrooms across Texas, further expanding its presence in one of the retailer's largest U.S. markets.
The grand opening will begin with giveaways and refreshments at 8 a.m., with doors opening to customers at 10 a.m..
