JYSK is continuing its international expansion with the opening of 18 new stores across 10 countries during March.
The update was shared by Mikael Nielsen, executive vice president for retail, customer service and B2B at JYSK, who highlighted the retailer's ongoing growth following a strong start to its financial year. The expansion follows a period that has already seen a significant number of store openings during the first six months of the financial year.

The latest wave of openings will extend JYSK's presence across multiple markets, including Ukraine, as the Danish home furnishings retailer continues to strengthen its international footprint.
Nielsen credited the company's employees across its store network, distribution centres and head offices for supporting the expansion. He emphasised the collective effort behind the retailer's growth strategy and ongoing rollout of new locations.
'Following the first six months of this financial year, with many new store openings, we continue our expansion in March with 18 new stores in 10 countries,' he said.
He added, 'Together we are stronger and can execute on a high level.'
The continued expansion reflects JYSK's strategy to bring its products closer to customers while strengthening its presence in both established and developing markets.
