Neutra previews its evolving marble universe for Milan Design Week 2026

Italian brand Neutra has unveiled a preview of its 2026 collection ahead of Milan Design Week (21–26 April 2026), reaffirming its design philosophy rooted in the expressive power of marble and natural stone.

At this year's presentation, the company will introduce new pieces that reflect the evolution of its design identity while reinforcing its long-standing material expertise. Central to the showcase is Neutra's continued exploration of marble as both a structural and emotional element within contemporary interiors.

"Raw materials are the original soul of Neutra's vision. This is where everything begins. From the absolute quality of marble and natural stone, their unique beauty, and their ability to transform every project into emotion."

Since 2022, under the guidance of Emanuele Chicco Busnelli, Neutra has undergone what the company describes as a "radical evolution". Building on its heritage in marble craftsmanship, the brand has expanded its offering into a broader design universe encompassing living, dining, sleeping, bathroom and outdoor environments. The approach combines technical know-how with a tailored design methodology, ensuring that materials, finishes and proportions are carefully calibrated to each project.

Among the highlights of the new collection is Atolls, a series of coffee tables designed by Draw Studio. Inspired by island formations shaped by natural forces, the design features three table sizes with independent yet interconnected tops. The surfaces appear to respond to one another organically, creating a composition that balances autonomy and cohesion.

The tabletops emphasise the expressive qualities of marble, allowing the natural veining of the stone to unfold across sculptural surfaces. In contrast, the bases introduce a more architectural language, formed by two curved metal planes that approach one another without touching, creating a visual tension between balance and suspension.

Also debuting is the Birky swivel armchair, designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, which expands on the Birky chair introduced by the brand last year. The new armchair emphasises comfort through softer, more enveloping forms, with a continuous flow between backrest and seat.

Distinctive details define the piece, including an exposed zipper that traces the seat's profile and pronounced stitching inspired by haute couture craftsmanship. The design is supported by a central metal spoke base, balancing the armchair's soft volumes with a precise structural element.

Through these new additions, Neutra continues to position marble not only as a material but as a narrative element within interior architecture, translating natural forms and textures into sculptural objects for contemporary living.
