LD Seating, the Czech family-run seating manufacturer, has launched Terra Lounge, a new soft seating collection designed by Folco Orlandini of Orlandini Design Studio, continuing a collaboration spanning over 10 years. Terra Lounge emphasises comfort, design, and sustainability, featuring armchairs with two polyurethane shells and dual-density foam that support natural posture, with optional high-back versions including an integrated rocking mechanism.

The series is defined by a continuous, flowing form, where the seat and backrest merge seamlessly, framed by sculpted side panels doubling as armrests. Terra Lounge allows for mixed materials and textures, adapting to diverse interior aesthetics in offices, public spaces, hospitality, and high-end residences.
Sustainability is embedded in the design: all rigid shells and foam are metal-free polyurethane, fully recyclable, and largely produced in LD Seating's Boskovice facility or elsewhere in the EU, supporting local production, shorter supply chains, and circular design principles.
