Photoreport of Meble Polska 2026

'The fair is no longer just a local Polish event; it has become a highly important international fair in Europe'

The Meble Polska 2026 furniture trade fair was held from 24 to 27 February at the Poznań International Fairgrounds. It reinforced its reputation as one of Europe's key events for furniture business. This year, the fair saw strong participation, productive business talks, and a clear focus on making deals throughout all four days.

A record-scale European furniture marketplace
Organisers called Meble Polska 2026 the biggest edition in the fair's history. The event covered 10 exhibition pavilions, giving visitors the most complete look yet at Polish manufacturing and international participation. A total of 377 companies from 17 countries displayed everything from upholstered furniture and mattresses to tables, chairs, and decorative items.

The fair's main strength remained its wide range of products. It brought together established Polish makers and a growing number of international brands. At the same time, it drew skilled buyers, many of whom were planning assortments and placing orders for the next season.

Serious conversations and contracting focus
For both exhibitors and visitors, Meble Polska 2026 stood out for its business-focused atmosphere. From the start, the halls were full of serious negotiations and strategic talks. Many brands reported high levels of meaningful interactions with buyers. Retailers, distributors, and procurement managers came ready to discuss real deals, which pleased the companies on the show floor.

This reflects one of the fair's key strengths: Meble Polska is mainly a contracting marketplace, not just a design or lifestyle showcase. Attendees appreciated how the event made meetings efficient and results-driven, often leading directly to new business and confirmed orders.

Trends, innovation and industry insight
Besides the business activity, Meble Polska 2026 offered a strong programme of talks, workshops, and analyses. Topics included e‑commerce, export strategy, regulatory changes, and skills needs in the furniture sector. These sessions showed that the fair aims to provide practical insights, not just display products.

Product innovation was another highlight. The Gold Medal winners, recognised for design, modularity, comfort, and material quality, showed how manufacturers are responding to changing consumer and retailer needs. These products combined smart innovation with usability and commercial appeal.

Global reach and networking impact
Meble Polska 2026 attracted visitors from across Europe and beyond, showing its continued international appeal. Its early spot in the calendar, strong hosted buyer support, and easy logistics helped maintain strong attendance from key markets.

It wasn't all business, though. Networking events and informal meet-ups gave attendees valuable chances to connect and share ideas, often continuing conversations long after the fair ended.

Strengthened position, evolving expectations
As global furniture markets adjust, Meble Polska 2026 showed that focused, efficient sourcing events are still essential for companies looking for real partnerships and clear business opportunities. Exhibitors and buyers praised the fair for the number and quality of serious business conversations, proving it is not just relevant but increasingly important for planning the year ahead.

With the industry watching how Meble Polska and other European fairs develop, this 2026 edition confirmed Poznań as a key hub for contracting at the start of the furniture calendar, and a strong indicator of trends in design, distribution, and international trade.

Meble Polska Director Jozef Szyszka, in a brief press conference: 'This edition is stronger than ever. With imm cologne having a weaker show this year, we are seeing more and more international companies visiting our fair and expressing interest in participating. Visitors are our top priority, and the exhibitors follow naturally, something we have successfully achieved with this edition! It also highlights that Poland is a major furniture manufacturing country. The fair is no longer just a local Polish event; it has become a highly important international fair in Europe.'"
