IKEA has introduced a 6% discount for UK education and healthcare workers, up from the previous 4% online saving. The offer now applies to both online and in-store purchases, allowing eligible staff to reduce costs when shopping at any IKEA branch.

The scheme is delivered through partnerships with Discounts for Teachers and Health Service Discounts, which are currently the only platforms providing this benefit. To claim the discount, verified members simply scan a barcode at checkout after selecting their items.
Jen Haslam, Chief Revenue Officer at the discount platforms, said: "Teachers and healthcare workers play a vital role in society, and it's important that their dedication is recognised in tangible ways." Nikos Koskinas, Retail Partnerships Manager, added that extending the saving in-store and online "reflects our ongoing commitment to securing strong, relevant deals" for these professionals.
The initiative aims to provide both convenience and financial support for frontline workers across the UK, making everyday purchases more affordable.
