TCM Group, owner of kitchen brands including Svane Køkkenet, Tvis Køkkenet, Nettoline, and Aubo, faced capacity constraints in 2025 at its Tvis factory in Central Jutland due to increased demand for colored kitchens. The paint department had been operating 24/7 across three manual booths, leading to high overtime and reduced efficiency.

To address this, TCM Group invested 12 million DKK in a nearly fully automated lacquering facility. The new plant will supply lacquered fronts and elements for all group brands, enabling higher efficiency, fewer employees, and reduced overtime costs, while maintaining safety and employee well-being.
CEO Torben Paulin emphasised that the investment not only meets current demand but also prepares the company for future growth, particularly as housing activity in Denmark remains strong. The company reported increased revenue and earnings in 2025, and further improvements are expected in 2026 with the new paint line removing a key operational constraint.
TCM Group is Scandinavia's third-largest manufacturer of kitchens, bathrooms, and storage furniture, distributing through roughly 220 retailers in Denmark and Scandinavia, as well as private-label sales via hardware chains and independent stores in Norway.
The group also recently acquired full ownership of the online business Celebert, further strengthening its e-commerce capabilities.
This strategic investment reflects TCM Group's commitment to operational efficiency, employee safety, and maintaining market responsiveness amid growing customer demand for customised kitchen finishes.
