The company reported revenue of $5.3 billion for its fiscal year ending 31 August 2025, with e-commerce accounting for $1.9 billion. Alongside physical expansion, Ikea is entering partnerships with other retail chains, including electronics chain Best Buy, which now hosts Ikea kitchens in ten of its stores.
Rob Olson, Ikea's US country manager, stated the strategy "strengthened our ability to meet customer needs through new store concepts," and emphasised a continued focus on accessibility and sustainability.
Ikea's dual approach of expanding store presence and leveraging partnerships reflects a broader trend of combining in-person retail with digital and collaborative solutions to capture the growing US market while aligning with environmental and social commitments.
