spoga+gafa 2026: “Creation & Care” theme world sees record bookings

From 22 to 24 June 2026, spoga+gafa will once again bring together the international garden lifestyle and BBQ industry in Cologne. During the early-bird phase, the "Creation & Care" theme world recorded particularly strong demand and is currently around 85% booked. This section encompasses products and solutions for garden design, equipment and technology, as well as plants and care. Alongside "Living", "BBQ" and "Outdoor Adventure", it remains a key focus within the product portfolio of the world's leading trade fair for garden lifestyle and BBQ.

Strategic development and sharper profile
As part of the strategic development initiative "growing forward", Creation & Care 2026 has been given a more clearly defined structure and a sharper content profile, complemented by diverse formats for exchange and inspiration.

High demand and international participation
"With Creation & Care attracting such strong interest, it underlines the international appeal of spoga+gafa. The industry seeks platforms with clear structures, inspiring content and measurable value for their business, precisely what we are offering in 2026 with our more focused profile," said Claudia Maurer, Director spoga+gafa.

Already registered exhibitors include AL-KO Geräte, Biohort, Dreame, ECOVACS, FITT, Freund Victoria, GLORIA, Hörmann, JUWEL H. Wüster, KETER, Mammotion, Robert Bosch Power Tools, Roborock Germany, Suncast Corporation, Sunseeker and Videx Garden.

Clear structure for better orientation

Creation & Care is divided into three product areas to improve visitor orientation:

  • Garden Design – Equipment
  • Garden Design – Technology

Plants & Plant Care
This segmentation reflects the purchasing logic of the trade and current market developments, from garden sheds, privacy screens and pavilions, to battery-powered devices, robotic mowers, lighting, irrigation systems, garden tools, fertilisers and seeds, offering a structured overview tailored to trade visitors.

IVG stand and "IVG Garden Boulevard"
The Industry Garden Association (IVG), spoga+gafa's industry sponsor, will be prominently represented in the Creation & Care theme world. The IVG stand and IVG Garden Boulevard serve as central networking and information platforms, focusing on industry exchange, insights, and current developments.

"For the IVG, spoga+gafa is a highlight of the year. We are particularly excited about the Garden Boulevard, now in its second year, and our joint trade fair party with BHB," said Anna Hackstein, Managing Director, IVG.

Confirmed participants include COMPO, Dachser, FELCO Europe, Hauert MANNA Düngerwerke, Humintech, MESTO Spritzenfabrik Ernst Stockburger and SBM Life Science.

Digital Garden: focus on digitalisation
spoga+gafa 2026 will also showcase digital solutions across the trade value chain via the "Digital Garden" platform. Topics such as merchandise management, AI-supported pricing, digital labelling and POS solutions will be presented hands-on, supporting the competitiveness of both physical and online trade.
