Edge by Il Bronzetto, the door handle conceived by London-based OmniDe Architecture Studio and produced by Il Bronzetto, has been awarded an Honorable Mention at the 19th Annual International Design Awards, one of the most esteemed recognitions in contemporary design.

A daily gesture elevated to architecture
EDGE emerges at the intersection of sculptural exploration, functional precision, and material experimentation. Conceived as a micro-architecture, it interacts with light and space, turning a commonplace object into a striking architectural statement. OmniDe harnessed angular lines, light-cut surfaces, and faceted planes to create a piece whose perception shifts with the viewer, giving it a powerful sculptural identity. Iterative prototyping refined proportions, ergonomics, and durability, achieving a seamless balance between bold aesthetics and practical usability.

The handle's faceted geometry captures both natural and artificial light, creating visual depth and transforming doors into active architectural elements. Finishes, including brushed nickel, bronze, satin chrome, and gold, enhance its material presence, allowing integration or contrast in luxury interiors such as hospitality projects and executive offices.
Despite its sculptural presence, EDGE offers surprisingly comfortable ergonomics, with a natural, balanced grip that complements the design's visual strength.
