The Furniture Fair at Messe C is expanding in its second year, with 69 exhibitors confirmed for April 26–29, up from just under 60 at its debut. Lars Søndergaard, senior project manager at Messe C, emphasises that physical trade fairs remain important for the furniture industry, providing a forum for product display and professional networking.

While some industry voices, including Lise Thomsen of the Danish Confederation of Creative Industries, have noted declining support for traditional fairs like IMM Cologne and the Stockholm fair, Fredericia is proving resilient. The event draws primarily professional visitors, with 18% attending from abroad, and includes evening networking events to foster connections.
The Fredericia fair illustrates that while trade fairs must evolve, they still serve as a central hub for the furniture sector to showcase products, meet buyers, and build industry relationships.
