Spain's furniture sector closed 2025 with a 5% rise in exports, surpassing €3.146bn, according to ANIEME, citing Estacom trade data. Catalonia and the Valencian Community together accounted for 54.2% of total exports, cementing their leadership among Spain's Autonomous Communities.

Catalonia posted 8.2% growth, while strong gains were also recorded in Aragón (+9.1%), Andalusia (+11.2%) and the Region of Murcia (+18.5%). By contrast, the Valencian Community saw a 2.5% year-on-year dip, though it retained second place nationally.
France remained Spain's top export destination, representing 26% of total furniture exports and growing 2.2% in 2025. Other European markets delivered robust momentum, notably Portugal (+4.3%), Germany (+9.7%) and the Netherlands (+18.3%). The United States ranked third among destinations, with exports up 3.5%.
Outside Europe, Morocco emerged as a high-growth market (+19.9%), buoyed by infrastructure projects linked to co-hosting the FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal. Mexico also recorded strong growth (+19.2%).
ANIEME said companies are intensifying brand promotion abroad and called for greater public support to sustain export momentum amid geopolitical uncertainty.
