Techtextil 2026, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, will welcome more than 1,500 exhibitors from 49 countries from 21–24 April 2026. The event includes over 120 first-time exhibitors and 16 country pavilions, featuring nations such as France, Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Tunisia. Concurrently, Texprocess will host around 200 exhibitors, bringing the total to over 1,700 companies on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds.

Key sectors driving growth this year include Performance Apparel Textiles and Nature Performance. The Performance Apparel Textiles area in Hall 9.0 has doubled in size to accommodate 130 exhibitors from 13 countries, showcasing materials for protective, thermoregulating, and outdoor clothing. Live demonstrations in "Performance Apparels on Stage" will highlight functional end products in action.
Sustainability continues to be a focus. The Nature Performance special interest area highlights bio-based fibres, organic yarns, and natural polymers, with exhibitors including Barnet Europe, CORDENKA (Germany), Calloni (Italy), and Senbis Polymer Innovations (Netherlands).
For the first time, Techtextil introduces a dedicated Textile Chemicals & Dyes segment, consolidating over 30 suppliers from 11 countries to streamline sourcing for applications in apparel, industrial, automotive, aerospace, medical, filtration, and construction.
