"The new competence centre is a reflection of our entrepreneurial vision and our ambition to actively shape the flooring industry," said Moritz Mühlebach, CEO of SHARKGROUP AG. "We are proud of the growth of our group and look forward to offering our customers even closer support and enhanced service."
The facility is designed to promote interaction, knowledge sharing, and creativity. Open-plan layouts, sustainable construction, and modern workplaces support both employee collaboration and customer experience. Janine Heberle, Deputy CEO and Head of Human Resources, added: "The Bodenkompetenzzentrum stands for growth, partnership, and forward-looking thinking – a place where people and ideas come together to reach their full potential."
Strategically located near Zurich and the airport, the centre offers customers improved logistics, a larger pick-up shop, and an immersive product showroom. New event formats, professional training, and hands-on product experiences create opportunities for direct dialogue and collaboration with partners and clients, reinforcing the company's brand philosophy.
The SHARKGROUP brings together three leading flooring brands:
- DIRECTA – innovative profiles
- enia – inspirational flooring solutions
- PROFLOOR – professional tools
The official opening is scheduled for Spring 2026, accompanied by the first customer events and training sessions. The facility is set to become the heart of the SHARKGROUP, underlining its role as a leader in the Swiss flooring trade.
