XL-Byg Brejnholt will merge its 15 stores into a single company under one CVR number during 2026, aiming to improve efficiency, streamline documentation, and create a more cohesive customer journey. The consolidation will be implemented gradually, bringing previously separate units into a common organisational and administrative structure.

Chief executive Robin Brejnholt said the move will enable the business to share competencies across stores and deliver stronger solutions for customers, while maintaining local presence. The company added that unified systems and workflows will provide customers with a single point of access to advice, product ranges, and documentation.
The restructuring comes amid rising expectations from professional and private customers for service, sustainability standards, and digital solutions. XL-Byg Brejnholt operates 15 locations across Denmark and employs around 350 people. The company said the merger is designed to combine local anchoring with a more professional and scalable operating model to support future growth.
