Kasper Bregendahl, formerly CEO of Simpson Strong-Tie in the Nordic region, takes over from interim director Steffen Kremmer, who stabilised the business after a 32 million krone loss in 2024 caused by delayed projects, penalties, and costly errors. Bregendahl says he was drawn to the role because "there was a values match" and that he and the company already "speak the same language."
The new leader plans to grow steadily while maintaining operational discipline. He emphasises that expansion will not come at the expense of quality, noting that employees are still adjusting to recent challenges and that sustainable growth is key.
Roust Element, part of Nordic Wood Industries, has set a conservative budget for 2026 but anticipates strengthening its operations, exploring synergies with sister companies, and ensuring production keeps pace with demand. With stockpiled elements ready for construction sites, the focus is on stabilising operations and laying the groundwork for profitable growth in the coming years.
