Roche Bobois store pushes forward despite global slowdown

Roche Bobois has reported resilient annual results despite weak consumer demand and currency headwinds affecting international markets.

The company recorded 2025 revenue of €402.5 million, a modest decline compared with the previous year but described as "in line with expectations". Profitability remained broadly stable, with earnings projected close to 2024 levels despite a fragile economic climate that weighed on furniture purchases worldwide. Roche Bobois cited unfavourable exchange rates and a less favourable order book toward year-end as key factors behind the dip.

Regional performance was mixed. France showed slight quarterly growth, while North America experienced a sharper slowdown. Europe outside France remained broadly stable, supported by strong performances in Switzerland and Portugal. Meanwhile, overseas markets, particularly Chinam, delivered significant gains.

Alongside its results, the group confirmed continued expansion of its two brands, Roche Bobois and Cuir Center. Plans for 2026 include new company-owned stores, relocations to more premium sites and an ongoing programme of franchise openings.

Overall business volume, including franchised outlets, reached €563.8 million, underlining the group's ability to maintain momentum even as global furniture demand remains subdued.
