Italian mineral surface brand Quartzforms® will present its new sustainable collection, Madreterra, during Milano Design Week 2026, positioning the kitchen as an ethical, sensory, and design-focused environment.
Madreterra is a series of high-performance slabs developed from 100% recycled aggregates sourced from quarry waste, containing no added quartz and a reduced content of crystalline silica. The collection combines environmental responsibility with technical excellence, offering durability and resistance suitable for contemporary kitchen surfaces, including countertops, islands, backsplashes, and vertical claddings.

Described by Quartzforms® as "not just a surface, but a living material that preserves the memory of the earth and returns it in the form of design," Madreterra exemplifies the company's commitment to sustainable innovation within the Ecotone™ portfolio of environmentally conscious materials.
The collection features four chromatic variations: Luce, Dune, Isola, and Ombra. Inspired by the subtle hues of the earth, designed to enhance both aesthetics and tactility in kitchen environments. Through these materials, Quartzforms® seeks to transform the kitchen into a space where ethical considerations and design sensibility coexist, making the origin of the material a central narrative element.
By integrating sustainability, technical performance, and visual impact, Madreterra positions Quartzforms® at the forefront of the conversation on conscious materiality in interior design. The collection will be showcased during Milano Design Week 2026, highlighting the potential of recycled surfaces to combine functionality, environmental care, and aesthetic refinement.
