JYSK has delivered stable growth in recent years. In the 2024/25 financial year, the retailer generated HUF 89 billion in turnover, with sales rising 16 percent year-on-year. Customer numbers increased by nearly 10 percent, while online sales grew by more than 16 percent. Thanks to its extensive network, 99.7 percent of Hungary's population can reach a JYSK store within an hour, and 85 percent within 30 minutes. The Veresegyháza opening forms part of a strategy aimed at ensuring easy access across as many regions as possible.
The new store follows JYSK's 3.0 concept, emphasizing energy efficiency and a transparent, inspiring shopping environment. Full LED lighting, motion sensors and dimmable systems help reduce energy consumption, while redesigned interiors, showrooms and a mattress studio enhance the customer experience.
As part of its We Create Home donation program, JYSK is supporting Patrónus Ház in Gödöllő, an autism home for 12 young people with high support needs, by replacing worn furniture to improve living conditions. Opening day promotions included gifts for early shoppers.
