Ferroluce, together with Innova Imbottiti and Spaghetti Wall, has announced the winner of the first edition of "The Rooom" Contest, a project created to support and promote emerging and established Italian architecture studios.
The competition invited architectural practices from across Italy to develop their vision of a space inspired by the theme "Fine Dining Experience." Following an initial selection phase in December, ten shortlisted studios were chosen to move forward in the competition. The final evaluation combined public voting, an expert jury, and special guest Gian Paolo Vernier, co-founder of Studio Otto and a prominent figure in contemporary Italian design.

The winning studio will now have the opportunity to bring its concept to life at Le Stanze showroom in Milan during Milan Design Week (14–19 April 2026) as part of the Fuorisalone. The project will be recreated as a full-scale, immersive installation within the showroom's central space, offering exceptional international visibility during one of the design world's most important events.
"The Rooom" was conceived as a collaborative platform bringing together Ferroluce, Innova Imbottiti, Spaghetti Wall and Design Fever. The initiative aims to encourage dialogue between brands and architects, combining design, craftsmanship and material research in a shared creative process. By transforming conceptual proposals into tangible environments, the project highlights the importance of experimentation and storytelling through space.
Through this first edition, the partners sought to create meaningful opportunities for design studios while fostering innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration within the Italian design scene.
