Carpet and flooring retailer Tapi Carpets & Floors has expanded its presence with a new store opening in Peterborough, taking over the site of a former Carpetright location. This follows Tapi's acquisition of Carpetright in July 2024, which included 54 stores across the region. The Peterborough (England, UK) store, which opened on 7 February 2026 at Boulevard Retail Park, adds to Tapi's network of over 215 stores nationwide.

The new outlet offers a wide range of flooring options, including carpets, laminate, vinyl, luxury vinyl, and wood, featuring brands such as Brintons, Brockway, Westex, Karndean, and Quickstep, along with an exclusive Nike Grind underlay collection.
Jeevan Karir, CEO of Tapi Carpets & Floors, expressed enthusiasm about the opening, highlighting the store's ability to cater to diverse styles, tastes, and budgets.
