Italian luxury furniture brand Turri is previewing its new B.E.L.T. collection at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, showcasing a reinterpretation of artisanal leather craftsmanship in contemporary furniture design.
Designed by Matteo Nunziati, the B.E.L.T. collection draws inspiration from the woven leather belt, an emblem of Turri's longstanding dedication to bespoke luxury. The signature "belt" detail, crafted with skilled leatherwork, wraps the collection's large armrests and is complemented by an elegant buckle personalised with the company's "T" monogram.

"I was inspired by the 19th-century art of crafting travel trunks," explains Matteo Nunziati. "B.E.L.T. was born from a reflection on the culture of journey and place, and on the evolution of a functional object that can speak the language of elegance", Nunziati concludes.
B.E.L.T. balances architectural precision and comfort, with large rectangular volumes, tailored edges, leather piping, and carefully selected fabrics. Plush padded cushions rest on structures that appear to float lightly, creating an inviting and refined seating experience.

The collection is designed for flexibility and compositional freedom. Modular elements allow for bespoke configurations, while integrated accessories, such as a leather-covered coffee table, exemplify Turri's commitment to craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics.
"The design of B.E.L.T. engages in a dialogue between proportions and details: from the large modular elements that offer compositional freedom, to the carefully considered features ensuring coherence, quality, and exclusivity," Turri states in its press kit. The collection, made-to-measure, is described as "perfect for everyday living," marrying elegance with functional versatility.
B.E.L.T. is part of Turri's ongoing exploration of Bespoke, Exclusivity, Luxury, a philosophy that underlines the company's dedication to contemporary interpretations of traditional know-how.
