UK heritage carpet manufacturer Brintons has expanded its Country Life collection with four new carpet designs, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable materials and nature-led design. Woven in 100% undyed wool, the launch represents a significant move toward low-impact luxury flooring for residential and light commercial interiors.

Inspired by woodland landscapes, the new designs translate natural forms, tree canopies, root systems and forest floors, into textured cut-and-loop constructions that offer depth, durability and visual softness. Each design is available in two neutral, naturally derived colourways, Bamboo and Cloud, making the collection particularly suitable for specification-led projects seeking material honesty and longevity.
According to Jodie Hatton, Design Manager at Brintons, the additions were conceived as a natural evolution of the Country Life range, with pattern and texture taking precedence over colour through the use of undyed wool. "Each design has its own character, but together they offer a cohesive, versatile palette that brings tactile richness while remaining timeless," she explains.
The new designs include:
- Canopy – A contemporary cut-and-loop pattern inspired by overlapping treetops, delivering intersecting textures and a relaxed, organic aesthetic.
- Roots – A richly layered design referencing underground root networks, combining visual complexity with understated elegance.
- Dapple – A small-scale, semi-plain pattern that captures filtered light through foliage, designed for broad application across interiors.
- Glade – A loop and tight loop-pile construction echoing the forest floor, offering a refined, wool-based alternative to sisal with improved comfort and durability.
All four designs are suitable for a wide range of interior contexts.
