A Danish kitchen manufacturer has returned to profitability three years after entering bankruptcy, reporting a net profit of DKK 3 million in 2025. The turnaround follows a strategic shift towards a full furniture portfolio, led by owner Søren Overgaard, who acquired the company in 2022.

Since its founding in 2018, Stillark has been known for its simple, colourful kitchen designs. The company now offers shelves, mirrors, dining tables, and other furniture pieces, produced in Lithuania and Poland, with design and development retained in Copenhagen. The expansion aims to broaden the customer base while maintaining high-quality materials and finishes.
Products are sold via Stillark's 600-square-metre flagship store in Carlsberg Byen, partner showrooms, selected retailers, and its own webshop, supported by an in-house team of architects.
Stillark is preparing for international sales, with the Benelux region identified as a first target, though exports will begin once the product range is fully established. The company plans that a significant portion of revenue will come from furniture sales abroad within three years.
Overgaard emphasises that the combination of in-house design, scalable production, and adherence to the brand's signature aesthetic has enabled Stillark to transform a struggling kitchen business into a profitable, growth-focused furniture company.
