January Furniture Show 2026 proved pivotal moment for Lebus

Lebus returned from the January Furniture Show 2026 with renewed momentum, following several days of intensive exchange with retailers, buyers and industry professionals. The Birmingham-based event once again proved its role as a key meeting point for the UK furniture sector, offering space not only to present new collections but also to gauge how the market is evolving.

Throughout the show, Lebus' stand attracted steady interest from visitors keen to explore how the company is navigating the balance between design ambition and commercial viability. Conversations focused on product development, retail performance and how manufacturers can respond to shifting consumer expectations without losing sight of practicality and scale.

Refining luxury
For this year's edition, Lebus approached product development with a clear intention: to reinterpret refined design in a way that remains accessible to a broad retail audience. The collection presented at the show reflected this direction, combining newly developed models with updated versions of existing designs, refreshed through contemporary colour stories and detailing.

The response from visitors highlighted particular enthusiasm for several models, including Finesse, Bromley, Enzo, New York and Morris, which consistently drew attention during the event. While tastes varied across markets, these designs appeared to resonate for their ability to sit comfortably between aspirational aesthetics and everyday usability, a balance many retailers continue to prioritise.

Beyond the stand
Lebus' presence extended beyond its own exhibition space. The company was also invited by the organisers to furnish the VIP Lounge, supplying a selection of sofa models from its range. The area served as a relaxed environment for meetings and informal discussions, reinforcing the importance of comfort and atmosphere in professional networking settings.

Participation at this level reflects a broader willingness among manufacturers to support the overall experience of the show, not only through product launches but also by contributing to shared spaces where dialogue can unfold more organically.

Manufacturing as strategic asset
A recurring theme in discussions around the Lebus stand was manufacturing. With all production taking place in the UK, the company continues to emphasise the advantages of an integrated, in-house approach. From design and development through to final assembly, control over the process allows for consistency, efficiency and responsiveness to retail requirements.

Operating from a purpose-built facility with a sizeable skilled workforce, Lebus is able to manage both quality and cost internally. This structure supports scalability while maintaining the level of oversight expected by long-standing retail partners, particularly at a time when supply chain reliability remains a key concern across the industry.

Momentum beyond the fair
As the halls of the January Furniture Show quieten, activity behind the scenes has accelerated. New enquiries are being followed up and recently presented models are moving into broader production planning. The feedback gathered during the show is now feeding into the next stages of development.

For Lebus, JFS 2026 was less about a single moment of visibility and more about reinforcing relationships and setting a clear trajectory for the year ahead. The conversations that began in Birmingham are now shaping how the brand moves forward in an increasingly competitive and design-aware market.
