British bed manufacturer Get Laid Beds has marked its most successful Black Friday yet, generating over £500,000 in sales across the weekend. The milestone highlights the growing demand for premium, handmade wooden beds and underlines the company's continued investment in craftsmanship, people, and local manufacturing.

Black Friday 2025 (28 November) became the company's single most successful day in its history, delivering a 32% uplift compared to 2024, with the full Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend achieving a 36% increase on the previous year.
Founded fourteen years ago by Jonny and Jean, Get Laid Beds specialises in handmade, 100% solid wood bed frames crafted in Leicestershire using traditional carpentry techniques. In 2025, the company invested in a precision turning lathe to enhance efficiency and consistency across turned components, while remaining committed to its artisanal production values.
The company has also accelerated its B2B and commercial expansion, appointing Melanie Whetstone as Commercial Sales Manager to grow the Trade division, targeting hospitality, retail, and large-scale residential projects.
CEO Scott Shields said:
"This year has been about scaling the business with intent while staying true to what makes us different. Our record-breaking sales and continued investment in people and production show that customers still value furniture that is well made and built to last."
International demand is also on the rise, with £3.4 million in revenue from overseas markets in 2025. Europe alone saw a 151% increase, contributing over £500,000 in sales.
Looking ahead, Get Laid Beds plans to double its trade performance, expand its specialist team, and secure new contracts across the UK, US, and European markets.
